Tried the AotL build and kept failing. Minions kept going for spirits as Griffon walked away and cast spirits. This kept happening. Any help?

I used the alternate strategy listed here and went with Elementalist as secondary profession. I tried the W/N builds a couple times without any luck. But the W/E build worked like a charm for me

Finally succeeded.

I stood on the little "hill" next to his spawn point, then summoned the minions. The second he turned aggressive, they moved up to him and trapped him. Cast Barbs, and then speared him to help Barb activate.

Ebon Sniper, then that Ebon signet to add disease.

Spear, spear, spear.

And he died after a second sniper+signet combo.

Ripostes + Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support + Ebon Vanguard Sniper Support + Endure Pain + Grenth's Balance. It should work. Eventually you can take minions.
